About the Journal

The journal aims to solicit and publish scholarly contributions related to the musical cultural landscape of Southern Italy, with particular attention to the lesser-known aspects of the nineteenth century that still await in-depth study. Although the journal focuses primarily on musical topics, it also considers cultural phenomena essential for a more comprehensive study of music, including publishing, journalism, reviews, and other relevant fields.
