Duties of the Editor and the Board of the Journal

Poliorama Musicale decides to accept or reject an article for publication after assessing its scientific quality and originality.

The Editor-in-Chief and the Scientific Director of the journal are responsible for the protocol of evaluation and revision of the texts, and rely on the support of the Scientific Editorial Board and the Scientific Committee and the judgement of highly qualified external reviewers (Peer Reviewers).

Articles are evaluated through a peer review procedure. Each article is evaluated by three reviewers selected on the basis of a criterion of competence and high qualification in the field; their reasoned opinion is communicated in full to the authors in writing.

The Journal is committed to ensuring anonymous, fair, and impartial peer review.

The Journal ensures that texts proposed for publication remain confidential during the evaluation process. Confidentiality of individual, research or professional information is guaranteed throughout the entire review process.
