Abstract
Madison U. Sowell’s text is dedicated to the art of dance. The American scholar and collector chronologically retraces the main stages of the career of the first mime of the Teatro di San Carlo, Gaetano De Angelis, reconstructing the context in which the artist operated through the material provided by the collections of costume designs.
